Family Trip to Vegas 2001

We also went to see shows. We saw Sigfreid and Roy, and that was amazing. We also saw Blue Man Group, and that was even more amazing.

Siggy and Roy-boy have their own place where they keep the animals they perform with and breed at the Mirage hotel. This is from the "Secret Garden," and we are seeing two white tigers.

CR on a stone lion.

Christine at the dolphin tanks.

An elephant and some sort of weird turkey. CR went nuts about the turkey, and took several photos of it.

Christine and I, happy to be together.

The Blue Man Group was AWSOME. I literally cannot rave about this enough. It's worth every cent I spent to go see it, and was the highlight of the whole trip. It's like a comedy-music-rave-expereimental-theater thing. After the show, CR an Christine pose with a Blue Man. He will kiss your program book to leave blue lips, or smear your face with blue paint.

We went to the Luxor Steakhouse for our anniversary, and MAN was it good. It's very expensive, but worth it. Service is primo. Brad won like over $1000 in blackjack, treated himself to two $75 bottles of wine, and was a very pleasant dining companion.

All in all, Vegas was a great trip. We took a lot more interesting photos, but many of them did not come out, so I apologize for the flabby arrangement of this site. I recommend Vegas to anyone, if just once, to see it on their own terms. It has something for everyone, even if you don't drink or gamble (I didn't). It's like an adult Disneyworld.
