Between the Lines
The Life and Times of Tony Bumper

This is new for 2001. I have started doing test readings at my fan gatherings at conventions, and this has proven to be a success. So far, this is not in print or even done yet. I only have three chapters as of February.

This is the story of an non-average boy in an average world...
Hi. My name is Tony Bumper. Although I was born in the United States, I have lived most of my life overseas until I was 12. The last 4 years I have lived in a very remote town in the Australian Outback. I was looking forward to moving back to the United States, where I could see where I was born, and meet kids my own age. This turned out to be a big mistake.

... who meets a very strange girl...
Hey! My name is Koko. I am a 28-foot dragon with a penchant for bubble gum and all-time champion winner at full contact butterfly-knife billiards! Okay, maybe I am not. Maybe I lie all the time to attract attention to myself. Not that I could help it. I am so cute! Just look at my hair! It's so straight and shiny, you could put your makeup on with the reflection! Why just last week, I was out in the sunlight and blinded 15 bus drivers. And I have fine taste in clothing. I think the man who put neon green on fabric must have been a saint directly manufactured from healthy Gods. I'd wear it all the time, but I'd attract moths. Did I mention I was cute? Yee-HA! Hey look, I can type in colors!

... and both of them have no idea what is about to happen to them.
Grim. My name is Misabell. I don't say much, because I hate you. I hate everything, because everything is annoying. If you have a problem with that, I will write it down on your stomach lining as I force my fist down your throat. Now, go away. What, you want plot? That, my miserable pile of walking entrails, is for me to know, and you to never know.

Coming soon from Squid Ink Publishing, the story of one boy and one girl facing impossible odds when reality and dimension collide. Nothing is ever as it seems. Even when you read...
