07/08/2003 Entry: "Stupid Allergies... or whatever"
Ever since just before the beach trip, my allergies or something has gotten a lot worse. I used to use my inhaler only about a few times a year, but in the last few weeks, it's been almost daily. It's really hard to breathe outside especially, which limited my walking around Hatteras by quite a bit. I am exhausted all the time, yet unable to get a restful sleep. Last night was terrible, I had migraines, wheezing, and just plain "too exhautsed to sleep" syndrome. I was up until 4:30am, trying to find stuff to do, but I couldn't do too much work because after a few minutes of activity, I was short of breath and sweating profusely. I ate some chocolate, which helped a lot, and let me finally sleep in the end, but I couldn't even go to work today because I hadn't slept. I also feel kind of achey like I have a fever (but I don't) and even typing this entry has been an effort. I don't *feel* sick, like when one has a cold, just... exhausted and everything requires so much effort to do even simple tasks. Bleah.
