01/06/2003 Entry: "I love my job" I do. Sorry, I know that sounds conceited, but I do love what I do: I program and build machines all day. It's like playing with Legos and solving puzzles. How cool is that? And people love me here. Today's ego boost came during a meeting when a well-respected coworker said: Punkie: So you want me to learn this new language and program existing infrastructure with it? Co-woker: Yes, don't worry, it's easy. Punkie: I have been told that before. Are you sure I can do this? Co-worker: I picked you because you're the best out there. His Boss: I know. I have seen your code. Daaaammn... I better live up to this!
